Dancing between oneness and separation

I was presented with this question today: “What is your favorite concept? Is it oneness? Diversity? Manifestation? Differentiation? Unity? Harmony? What is your favorite concept, or what principle do you love to keep in mind?”. Personally, I’m not interested in mind games, that’s not why I mention it here, but because I just realized that my answer is exactly what I felt inspired to write about anyway, before seeing that question in my email box.

It’s not that there is any “principle” that is my favorite as such, and it’s certainly not because I’m trying to keep it – or anything else – in my mind. On the contrary…

It’s that it keeps coming back. No matter what direction I look in, no matter what challenge, what gift, what insight, what experience – at the end of the day it always comes back to oneness – and the illusion of separation.

Awakening to oneness (which by the way is the original name for the Awakening Relationships Workshop) is what this journey in consciousness is about – and it shows up everywhere – absolutely everywhere. As does separation!

When I say everywhere, I mean everywhere! Without separation there is no everywhere, no everyone, no everything, no relationships, no movement, no journey. There is just pure potential I imagine – and then I don’t imagine it at all. Part of me – and part of you – can feel it – that pure potential.

But then, back to the journey – that’s what’s all about here, now.

Where did I come from? Ah, the dance between oneness and separation, and everything coming from there:

Like take such a down to earth thing as my vocation, my work. For the last few years I though it was necessary to divide it in somewhat separate entities: There was busting loose coaching here, general spiritual coaching there.

But then, at some point it stopped making sense to me. Outrageous as it may sound to some (and it would to an earlier version of me), Phase 1 and Phase 2 doesn’t make much more sense to me anymore. You could say these are descriptions of different stages of the human journey, but then again – that’s separation too. There is just one journey, one dance from oneness to separation and back again…

As you may have noticed (or maybe not) as philosophical as I may sound at times (I think I do) I’m not interested in philosophy – I’m interested in experiences, in sharing. And that experiential, passionate approach is not dependent on phase 1 or phase 2, business or family, here or there – that’s just me. So at this point of my journey it translates in me no longer experiencing certain separating creations of mine as meaningful. For example, it makes no sense to me to have different coaching platforms for different people and so it has become the unified Awakening Coaching.

Of course, separation is not “just a problem” – it is what enables the entire human experience! So it’s not that I’m on some kind of separating ant-separation war! I just feel like playing with separation in a different way, so that it becomes diversity playing together rather than separated playing fields, at least wherever it’s possible.

Like this blog, for example. At this point I want to bring all my blogging to one place, and just see what happens, see how it works, for me and for you. I hope you will let me know (I have opened for comments below, see?).

There will be an awakening perspective to most of it – because that’s the name of the game for me – and for you too, since you’re here – but then there will be a diversity of ways to play with it. So let’s see what comes next… And also, let me know what you would like to see here – any inspiration is welcome!
